Idea #16114: Convert Wubi installation to native Ubuntu installation

Written by diegoj the 1 Dec 08 at 19:14. Related project: Wubi Windows installer. Status: New
Rationale
What about a simple way of converting an Ubuntu Wubi installation in a native Ubuntu installation?

I know people who has installed Ubuntu via Wubi, and know, they want a full-Ubuntu version with in its own filesystem (ext3), because it works better.

I propose an option in the Wubi image to convert the installation to native, with disk partitioner, file moving, and finally erasing Wubi.

+1 If feasible, it's a pretty good idea.
