Description
Init script ordering doesn't take full cognisance of some features of laptops -- for example if I have a firewall and sendmail installed, it will try to bring them up at boot time, whereas wireless networking doesn't get activated until you log in, leading to very long delays at boot time.

I agree. Since the wi-fi connection is late in the boot process I've got some G-Desklets that all have to be restarted after boot because they rely on an internet connection that isn't there yet.
