Related to: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Description
A list of all current open applications must be kept so that in the possibility of a system crash, the applications are opened on system restart. (This list can be cleared on system shutdown)

Applications like nautilus must also rememeber the folder it was in.

P.S.- firefox automatically supports a restore session feature, hence just restarting the application will do.

Interesting idea - but what happens if one of the applications you reopen at restart caused the crash...?

Maybe in the next login the user should be asked if he wants to restore the orevious session...something like what is currently done by Firefox's inbuild session handler
