Please explain a little more:

- Do you want Firestarter added to the repos? (It's already there)
- Do you want Firestarter added to the default install? (I'd disagree; basic users often don't understand ports, adding iptables would get needlessly confusing)
- Are you just telling people Firestarter is available? (Good! But not really an idea)
- Do you want Firestarter's default settings changed? (If so, what's wrong with them?)

People coming from windoze expect us too to need a separate firewall, just like anti-virus. We don't need those.

One reason for why people are still choosing windows over linux is because linux usually lacks a lot of gui'ed system tools. I think including a firewall manager by default would be a great idéa! +1 from me

beter use gufw as default firewall and make possible to redirect some connections and share interfaces.

Firestarter is a good GUI, and it makes sharing network connections easy (or so I've heard). As long as it supports blocklists from bluetack.com (which, afaik, it doesn't yet), I'm all for it.

+1
