What exactly do you mean with "mp3 disk"? You can just burn a fresh CD with mp3s, this is perfectly possible with K3b and Amarok.
If you need help, feel free to get it at the Ubuntu forums.
I'll close this idea as it is no "idea" - until you specify it more further.

I think an "mp3 disc" is just a Data CD or DVD with mp3 files inside it so in this case droetker is right: most burning or music applications can do it, not only K3b and Amarok but also Brasero and even Nautilus Burner!
But if we're referring to burning classic Audio CD from mp3 sources, most applications can do it too, including K3b and Brasero (and I'm not sure about Rhythmbox but I think so). They're extremely easy to use because they convert mp3 files to appropiate format for Audio CD before burning it automatically.
So I agree with droetker, this idea is already implemented.

Maybe then it's a user interface issue? What, in other applications, makes this understandable, and what, in ours, does not? That's a question worth looking into.

I think dragoninsande already posted a new idea describing it more further, look at
http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/12290/
But - dragoninsage, could you PLEASE split your many ideas there into separates?
