Description
The Ubuntu home page makes no mention of brainstorm. The news on the home page doesn't even mention this site launching. Clicking on Community/Get Involved brings up a page which makes absolutely no mention of brainstorm!!
HOW ARE PEOPLE GOING TO KNOW THIS EXCELLENT SITE EXISTS?
Please make it easy for people to find their way here.
Why you aren't shouting from the roof tops on your home page about this new feature I do not know!

Quite a few people seem to know about it's existence. It's been featured on the front page of digg, wired and slashdot in the last 24 hours.

It's in the fridge. Under Ubuntu.com -> News -> The Fridge. Right on the front page. Not directly, but it's there.

And in 6 months time when Joe Public wants to tell the developers an idea will it still be on the digg front page? No!!
Will it be on the Ubuntu front page? That's the question.

Why did no one at Ubuntu think to add it to the Get Involved page though?? which is seemingly the most obvious place to put it. It seems to me that actually linking to this site from the Ubuntu site is a bit of an afterthought.

This is the best way for many to contribute. Take me, for example; I can't code, but I'm an idea man. I don't think I'm alone. People need to know that their thoughts have value.
Voted up.

I cant believe that there are still no prominent links to Brainstorm on the Ubuntu website. Even clicking on the non techie section of the how to contribute page doesn't list anything about this site.
Sometimes you guys are completely unfathomable. Why even both developing this site if you dont wanna spend 15 minutes putting some links to it from the main Ubuntu website? I hope you guys really aren't that stupid and the reason you haven't done anything is that come 8.04 release day the website will have some brilliant make over that links to brainstorm.

This site should be made into a strong marketing (gah! dirty word!) point for Ubuntu.
Right now, in order to get here from Ubuntu.com you need to go trough too many steps (and that is if you know what to look for):
Ubuntu.com homepage ->
->"Get Involved", where you get a small note at the bottom of the screen about ->
->"The Idea Pool" which is in fact an intimidating Wiki site which points to ->
->brainstorm.ubuntu.com
Brainstorm should have a bit of its own space on Ubuntu.com homepage, and maybe a site explaining what it is. Add some slogan like "Now you can participate in making Ubuntu better even without having technical skills" or something along the line (probably something more catchy) and it will sure give both Brainstorm and Ubuntu a boost.
