Description
Right below the title f this brainstorm you can read:
"The Ubuntu community has contributed 10907 ideas, 49662 comments, 1064082 votes"
In the same way, how about counting the number of users?
Could be something like:
"The Ubuntu community has contributed X ideas, Y comments, W votes, from Z contributors".

Not sure about putting it on the front page, the banner is already quite loaded...
For your information, there is at the moment 18,500 registered users.

Thanks for the information Nand! Maybe you are worried about the geometry of the banner, to not to include this little piece of information. I have two suggestions for that:
1. Write it using two lines.
2. Replace the information about the number of votes by the number of votes.
The number of ideas is a sufficient way to convey the community's contribution, and the number of comments show us that people participate indeed. The only missing information is: How many people are doing all that, like reading, commenting, voting, creating ?
(for 07 July, 2008 we already know it's about 18500 :-) )
