Description

Give users the ability "hate" other users. When you "hate" another user, you automatically vote against anything posted by that user.

I think that allowing users to "love" other users would mean encouraging the creation of fictitious accounts that automatically support each other, so I am not suggesting it.

Let's not do this. Instead we'll add a 'report spam' button and repeat offenders posting spam or abuse will be visible there and can be banned by admins.

I was getting annoyed at how many spam posts I was trying to vote down, so I figured an automated system would do it better.

I think it's quite a funny idea, since it has the potential to be the most voted-down proposition in the short history of this site. After reading what I wrote a few times, I realized it reminds me of a few things, like Mordeth from Wheel of Time, who tried to fight the evil of The Dark Lord by creating an evil to match it and in the end it ate up the people it was supposed to protect.

If you can find as many people as possible and point them here, so they'd vote against this idea, then thanks very much. I would have voted against it myself if I hadn't stupidly voted in favor of it moments before my mind cleared of this madness.

@tomatz: Just vote against this idea and get over with it. It's still note voted down enough to satisfy me.

Don't worry about technicalities like that, since it won't be implemented anyway. even if it did, you can always create a fictitious account and set it to hate you as a workaround.
