Rationale
Canonical offers "shipit" to distributions Ubuntu, Ubuntu Server Edition, Kubuntu and Edubuntu, I think it is unfair to offer ubuntu and its variants official Xubuntu least, I think it's as if canonical said that this distribution is not as important as others.
I think we should offer the shipit service for Xubuntu.

Mark Shuttleworth said "i don't think so. xubuntu, as i understand it, is a more specialist environment, so we probably would not fund cd shipments for it. it's hard to justify on either philanthropic or business grounds. though it would be nice at least if you could order xubuntu"
Although I disagree. I think that many users without a fast internet connection to download would also have a slow machine so would benefit from Xubuntu.
Xubuntu *is* not important as others, or at least according to Canonical, simply because of it's (perceived) smaller userbase. Too bad, but that's reality - there just isn't an endless flow of money :(
That said, it might be considered to set up a community-powered ShipIt-like service.
would it be cost effective to offer many CDs in the one order from shipit?
one click and ask for xubuntu, kbuntu, ubuntu and edubuntu.
this would save postage costs as well......
I mean if you want all the cds you need to log on to the seperate sites to order your free cd, but if you could order all the flavours then one postage cost?? makes sence to me how about you?
