Rationale
If ubuntu 8.10 decides to change the theme, also retain the current theme: human. Because I think there are many people who do not like the new theme and prefer to use human.
There is no such thing as "new theme" yet. The theme now in Intrepid is far from the theme that will be default, it is merely put there to find out problems with using a dark theme.
I think Ubuntu's Theme should be changed its too plain it dos not stand out like others, if you look at the majority of other distros that use gnome they all look the same. we need Ubuntu to look like Ubuntu - to have its own look kind of like when you look at windows XPs desktop YOU Know it is XP, you obviously know it is not vista or Mac OS X
I agree the new theme is TOO DARK (Looks like Vista, NOT GOOD VISTA SUCKS THIS THEME WILL BRING BACK BAD MEMORY'S TO NEW USERS :( )
