Description
I think the title speaks for itself. Every time I open gedit, it will have the files I had opened before closing it. I really liked this feature in Notepad++. At least an option would be great (BTW, the options in gedit are remarkably few giving how frequent one uses it).

P.S. Add gedit in the "This Idea is related to:" list. I'm not the only one that has a suggestion for gedit (this could be a separate idea BTW)

i think you meant last opened files

@dragoninsane I believe "last opened files" is usually a term for the list of recent opened files, which gedit already has. Although I wouldn't mind changing the title. Firefox uses the term "Tab Session", which sounds good but doesn't imply directly what it is by it's name. So, I'll stick with the simplest one and use the description for the rest ;)

Install the package gedit-plugins and you get additional plugins, one of them is:
* Session Saver: Save and restore your working sessions

check this out: http://www.nanolx.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48:gedit-plu gins-extra-2232-is-out&catid=34:newsnanolx&Itemid=53

it must be compiled, but it has what you want and more.

Perhaps, some of these could be added to gedit-plugins package?
