Description
Often you play a game and need temporarily swotch to another task. There should be a shortcut to minimize a fullscreen application to free the desktop.

This is more a problem with one of the main graphics libraries on Linux (SDL). It grabs ALL the keyboard keys regardless of who else is using them, so the desktop can't tell when the key combo is pressed. Somebody ought to pass this along upstream though.

I just use ctrl-alt-right arrow to switch to a new workspace, works pretty well.

Well, I just tried ctrl-alt-right arrow while playing Counter-Strike and it does not switch me to a free desktop.

Yah, looks like it doesn't work to well with hl2 at least, i'd say that there's no easy way to minimise most wine games without causing issues. wow seems to work ok if you mess with the windowing settings a bit in the wow config.
