Description
english:
to add/remove ... has a new sector in which appear all new programs that appear. thus we can see if there are new programs on the list without having to search it, because they are housed in the new sector. thus does not mix the old with new programs.
but if it is not possible, at least mark with bold new programs or with blue or red
(I'm from spain, sorry for my bad english)

Why not show "the date" the program was added.
That way the user can decide "how recent" a program needs to be for their search. They could even search based on programs installed "before a certain date".
They search for programs installed over a time period some time ago (e.g. while I was away for 2 weeks, what programs did the others install - kids )
Then you can also gather statistics like;
1) how often the program gets started, last time it was used
2) how often it crashes and why
3) files saved by working with the program, space, number of files, average size
4) more recent version available
5) user's comments (may optionally get sent back to program's project team)
6) ability to be shown list of similar programs the user may be interested in.
7) ability to be shown a list of other programs that make a good "kit" with this one, that the user may be interested in.

FR: C'est un bonne idée et je crois que c'est faisable.
Can you imagine if all the ideas contained a translated version in all languages! I wouldn't know where to start reading.
This actually gives me an idea. There should be a "Translate this idea" link that would let you submit a translation. You would be able to see translated ideas by setting a language preference.

it is a great idea i thought that and write ie in ubuntuforums, becouse there are a lots of new version of software that are not in add/remove section, all they are old version, please update all the repositories once a week or add a new section to install the upgraded versions of software.
