Idea #10274: Improved File operations Requester...

bug This idea is a duplicate of Idea #356: Copy / Move File Queue.
Written by tenplus1 the 25 Jun 08 at 12:43. Category: System. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
The new file operations requester is pretty basic and doesn't allow for pausing an operation to give priority to something more important (like a rushed file copy)...

I have submitted a mock-up for a new requester that gives more control over copying/moving files and a simple or informative display for noobs and nerds alike :)

I'm not really voting +1 for the idea, but for the "side effects". getting more informations about copied files might be really interesting (like which files are already done and which one are still waiting)

Yes and an option to set the ionice class to 3.

ionice -c [n]

The scheduling class. 1 for real time, 2 for best-effort, 3 for idle.
