Idea #10208: make theming ubuntu a bit easy

Written by everlasting.puneet the 23 Jun 08 at 15:50. Category: System. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
though current theme manager or so caller "appearance manager"
is really good and theming is quiet easy but when i wanted my computer to imitate like OSX i had to read several posts and then too was too time consuming and after doing lots of things i finally got the look i wanted.
here i want to propose that there should be some file like deb or even tar.gz which can take care of every thing starting from gdm themes to gtk and usplash too and even the mouse theme ..
well having different managers for different things makes theme more customized. but sometimes when the whole look has to be changed this consumes time .. so may be any single click thing we can have which have some script to take care of every thing. Doing this we don't have to change whole theming system we just want something which can automatically configures every thing..
