Rationale
as is konwn to us ,ubuntu has double desktop ,but they are all with same background ,I think ubuntu should can set different background,if so,we can distinguish two desktop easily,meanwhile,it Improve work efficiency

That is a good point, why are their 2 desktops yet they are both exactly the same. Each desktop should have its own settings for its look and feel.

This is already possible, there's a plugin in Compiz that does this I think
