Idea #1016: Better touchpad support

bug This idea is a duplicate of Idea #126: Disable touchpad while typing.
Written by mparker the 29 Feb 08 at 06:15. Category: System. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
The synsptics touchpad has a large configurable set of actions . The Macbook Air has several of these like the double finger scroll option and the two finger right click. I hope this can be done.

there is another problem: sometimes when external mouse, or Wacom tablet is in use, touchpad looses it's functionality and settings like scroll, acceleration, etc.
