Description
I think that Ubuntu should have support for the shock wave plug in. At least, someone could make a free plugin that plays shock wave games

I haven't seen any site that use Shockwave in years.
Does it even still exist?
Doesn't Flash do the same thing?

I haven't seen any shockwave enabled sites for ages either actually. Maybe thats because according to wikipedia, only about 50% of people have support for it out of the box.

Shockwave is just basically a bit more powerful then flash. I have only seen it being used though for exe files for the past 3-6 years at least.

So I'm not sure Canonical should waste time making one. However, you could start a petition and post it for people to sign, email adobe directly, start your own or start a bounty.
