Currently testing & happily reporting any bugs and issues i stumbled upon a idea on idea. :)
Solution #2:
After login - respective user desktop wallpaper need to display
After entering user name and password , screen should take to respective user wall paper and , fade-in effect can be used on toolbars , which will popup one by one. If fade-in-out effect used in between login screen and desktop it will look bad on slower systems.

Solution #3:
Fading plus wallpaper integration in LDM.
When you select the user you want to log in with, and before you write its password, LDM Background should fade to that user's wallpaper. When you enter the right password, LDM fades out and your account fades in.
This required an added option: When you change your wallpaper, you should be asked "Do you want to activate LDM Background Integration?" That way, if your Wallpaper is obscene you can hide it. If not it can be shown in LDM.

EOG with PSD and XCF facility

Not an idea
If you want to see your XCF and PSD images, you can see them with the GIMP. The EOG is starting faster and there isn't GIMP on the basic install.

Radiance and Ambiance themes are bit monotone

Not an idea
This is a design problem. There are two usable Ubuntu themes: Radiance and Ambiance. But they are bit monotone, one is dark, second is light. For example Windows 7 looks good because its colours. Ubuntu looks good too but it look may get boring.
auto adjust brightness depending on the clarity of the image displayed

This was originaly a rather stunning fonction integrated to some NEC screens. NEC called that technology "auto-bright". I thought we could adapt the concept in software. Excessive or insufficient brightness tires the eyes. Therefore, as some pages are white (as google) and others are dark, the only way to keep the best setting is to compensate this frequent color variation by the appropriate brightness correction. This could also improve the autonomy of laptops.
Solution #1:
Modify compiz plugin AND create an independant package.
Modify the compiz plugin "opacity, brightness and saturation" by adding the auto-bright fonctionnality and giving choice between two modes: screen mode and window mode. The window mode would adjust brightness of each window according to its own colors, while screen mode would adjust the entire screen brightness (or backlight) to its colors too.
.
AND
.
Create an independant package doing the same stuff, so that everybody can use it, either he uses compiz, metacity, or other. For example, take the case of the netbook that i am using now: compiz slow it down significantly so i don't use compiz on this computer, and i am constantly changing manually the brightness setting because of my particular sensitivity of the eyes.
