Text editor should be able to read .nfo files
Written by pepperpupper the 21 Oct 08 at 16:45. New
.nfo usually comes with torrents, but have other uses and are used in other cases as well. I think it would be nice if the text editor was able to handle those files right out of the box

system tools showing us how far 'sync' is needed
Written by nitrofurano the 9 Oct 08 at 11:27. New
Most of people know the 'sync' issue is because performance.

The people used to not knowing 'sync' command (specially newbies) used to loose important files regularly. It's a fact, sadly.

Would be interesting some system tool, like a Gnome applet or something like, showing us how far clicking on the 'gksudo sync' custom Gnome Panel launcher is needed.

better wireless connection on signal strenght as weak as 5%
Written by nitrofurano the 17 Sep 08 at 23:17. New
Maybe most of people realized how hard is having a wireless connection when the strength is smaller than 15%.

I don't know much about wireless (and i don't know how possible it is), but it seems in theory we can have slow connections when the strengt is too low.

The wireless management could be the best as possible, and maybe allow us to tweak it by hand as far as possible, even if we use native drivers or ndiswrapper ones.

willwill100 look and feel (devianart)
Written by elmoj the 7 Aug 08 at 07:51. New
This is not my idea, is from willwill100 on DevianArt:

He/she make this mockup for Ubuntu and I think is one of the best ever created (my opinion).

He/she doesn't know that I publish his/her ideas here... But I think that if Ubuntu has this Look and Feel, Ubuntu will be better (or best :P)

As always, excuse my poor english.
