Solution #1: An option to adjust the speedof the screensaver slideshow
Written by Vanostaajen the 6 Mar 09 at 12:58.
Just add a button when in F-spot or in the screensaver which lets you choose between 3,5, 10, 20, 30, 60 or 120seconds between photos.

Solution #2: Hot key to interrupt and restart slide show, go backward or select a picture
Written by hdhfm the 18 Mar 09 at 22:53.
While in Screen saver mode I would like a hot key so that it is possible to interact with the screensaver without exiting screensaver mode. So that you could have a menu like

interrupt and restart (because you want to see the picture a bit longer)
back one picture (some one asks who was ...)
select one picture (to maybe change tags, orientation or ... in f-spot after screensaver was left)

F-spot: add a Vibrance Slider to Color Adjustments
Written by krs the 15 Oct 08 at 12:04. Not an idea
Vibrance of an image differ form the saturation. Vibrance is a more subtle way to "boost" the colors.

Here's an article about vibrance :

Here's an image from a friend, who use vibrance instead of saturation to enhance his work :

Solution #1: Auto-generated solution of idea #14422
Written by krs the 15 Oct 08 at 12:04.
Ubuntu Brainstorm was updated in January 2009. Since the idea #14422 was submitted before this update, its rationale and solution are not separated. Please vote accordingly, and if you have the necessary rights, please separate the rationale from the solution. Thanks!
