Evolution Mail and Calendar usability issue!
Written by turbolad the 28 Nov 10 at 11:59. Not an idea
If you've setup Evolution as your default mail program and you click a "Mailto" link in a website to send an e-mail, Evolution will open and give you the chance to send the e-mail, BUT... when the user clicks "Send", the e-mail goes in the "Outbox" and Evolution closes. The user thinks the e-mail has been sent, but it has NOT been sent! Not a wise idea.

Maybe this is a "feature" in Evolution in Ubuntu 10.10?

Solution #1: Evolution should send e-mail immediately when a "Mailto" link is used

As per title. Send the e-mail instead of using the "Outbox", as using the "Outbox" and closing Evolution gives the user the impression that the e-mail has been sent when in reality it has NOT been sent!
