This plugin would do the following:

+ group all emails (received and sent) in a thread as a single item in the inbox

+ previewing/opening a conversation shows all included emails in a vertically scrolling pane/window, with the newer messages at the bottom, and each message being collapsible.

+ moving/archiving a conversation from the inbox to another folder moves all included emails

+ if there is a new email in a conversation, the conversation is moved to the top of the list in a date-sorted inbox

+ All senders are displayed in the "From" field (as many as can fit, with the first and newest senders always appearing, and the other ones as an ellipsis (...) as needed)

+ The count of emails in a conversation appear somewhere in the subject line.

There is no plugin yet that supports exact gmail like conversation view. The closest any client has come is Postbox. I think the developers should make it like the view in Postbox coz it does the trick
