Contributor KurtKraut on Evince Document Viewer

Merge Evince and Eog into a single application.
Written by leandromartinez98 the 10 Sep 09 at 17:58. Not an idea

Evince and Eog are two programs to view files. Their difference is small in terms of looks. Evince can already open many figure files, but doesn't have the "Next" and "Previous" options and the zoom buttons. Adding these features to Evince would make Eog useless.

Solution #1: Add the few missing functionalities to Evince
Written by leandromartinez98 the 10 Sep 09 at 17:58.

By adding the capability of openning multiple doccuments at once without openning multiple windows and adding a few buttons, Evince would do everything Eog does, thus making Eog useless.

Written by adisk the 16 Sep 09 at 16:01.
Common GUI for all viewers and
many different backends for rendering files.

GUI like evince.

Backends:
1. *.so libraries.
2. executables with control via pipe or socket.
