several foto-applications realizes slideshows, but the duration of presenting a foto is standard for the whole movie or must be enterd slide by slide in seconds. To add a spoken comment and syncronize it with the picture is not practicable. But this is the most interesting feature.

The idea is a small slideshow-programm, basic features:

1. arrange the slides sequence
2. play the sequence as a movie, starting and stopping a slide manually.
3. Speaking the comment during the movieplay
4. Adding background musik or environmental sounds later.
5. Format for burning to a CD playable in a usual DVD-Player.

This would be a great open source product.
