I think it would be really cool if the 9.x release of Ubuntu were called something like Ubuntu 9.0: Hungry Hippo.

I would like to see a version of Ubuntu for people who don't like graphical interfaces. It could have Links or Lynx, Mp3Blaster, Vi or Emacs, Midnight Commander, feh, fbida, etc. The first version could be called Cubuntu 8.08 Consoley Codemonkey.

Okay, let's just say hypothetically that you're a virtual person written by the machines to run in the Matrix, and that the Matrix runs as a virtual world running on top of Ubuntu Gutsy. By mistake the machine in charge of you packages you for Fedora 8.
Would the machine be able to use rmp2deb to convert you to a *.deb file, and would it then be able to run you in the Matrix? Could there be any software dependency issues?
