Developers should post their own ideas for future Ubuntu releases so we can vote on them.

That would be a way for them to say "We are thinking about including this new feature and we would implement it this way" and get our feedback.

Of course it could be a new category or section or whatever.

Clonezilla is a Free/OpenSource cloning system alternative to Symantec Norton Ghost.

It supports Multicast for massively clone. You can also remotely use it to save or restore a bunch of computers if PXE and Wake-on-LAN are supported in your clients.

This is why I think it should be available, especially for Ubuntu Server Edition.

Kubuntu website has been redesigned, but when you decide to take the tour there are no screenshots at all. I think there should be some screens showing Kubuntu features and how it looks like, or even better, a Kubuntu features page like Ubuntu's one.

In the future, it would be nice shipping CDs with their artwork in your own language.

It would include *only* CD Case artwork -not the CD itself- because that would take a lot of work and money.

It would be nice sending transparent ubuntu logo stickers instead of white ones.

I know they are more expensive, but that can be solved by sending smaller and fewer stickers per ship. Bigger ones could be purchased at Canonical Store.

Asunder is a GPL Audio CD Ripper and encoder. It can be used to save tracks from an Audio CD to WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC and/or WavPack.

Unlike Sound-Juicer, Asunder let you choose the quality of output files by moving a bar, instead of having to manually edit GStreamer arguments like "audio/x-raw-float,rate=44100,channels=2 ! vorbisenc name=enc quality=9 ! oggmux"

Negative ideas should be shown in gray color.

It could be a good way to deal with "trash" and make brainstorm site cleaner and easier to read.

An intermediate solution could be turning the idea gray when it has too many negative votes (let's say -100).
