I tested out 8.04 Beta on my laptop after being very impressed with how it fared on my desktop.

I currently have to use wpa_supplicant.conf to connect to my internet here at school because NetworkManager does not allow for open algorithm with second phase MSCHAPV2.

Using the same setup on 8.04, I cannot connect to the internet.

It would be nice to either have:

a.) NetworkManager support open algorithm with second phase MSCHAPV2

or

b.) Allow for users to decide whether to use iwl or ipw drivers

Thanks!

P.S. I am trying to get my fellow students to use Ubuntu and this is quite a big deterrent.
