It would be good if will be themes for children and old people with big visible fonts and icons in both Ubuntu and Kubuntu.

If you add somehow most simplified panel and and menu view for most important things like web browsing and gaming, we will not need think how to configure it.

Ubuntu is linux for human beings, it means for everybody. None of linux distributions has this feature, let Ubuntu be the first who has it.

Addition: 1. Big cursor with big clicable area setting
2. Disabled keyboard repeating? When one presses a key, reaction might not be good to enter only one letter - it's not useful.
3. Big fonts, big icons and widow decorations.
( 4. A RADICAL idea: home directory set as the desktop - $DESKTOP=~ - all files of old man or child are on desktop, and there is no need to click on 'home' icon)

When printing photos from Digikam or Gwenview it's easy to mistake:
- Digikam's and Gwenview's 'landscape' and 'portrait' are different!
- When printing photo 4x3 on 10x15cm paper from Digikam you cannot choose to print photo whith white borders, only to cut some piece of photo. So you must use Gwenview for printing those photos. And then you cannot choose to print several photos in Gwenview.
- When you're printing a photo all the dialogs are the same as you're printing a document.

PROPOSITION:
When you've chosen to print an image you can choose to print:
a photo - and then go on with simple and understandable dialogs for photo printing,
or image - and then go on with standard printing dialog.

Photo printing dialogs can be used by default in Digikam.
(All of this is meant to be proposed for Ibex' KDE4)

Please include large set of plasmoids and free dash applets. Many users use kubuntu locally without internet, and they want to use Plasma fully too.

Please, make the SINGLE package for Abiword 2.6, as the developers want. Ubuntu is great distibution, and it's sad to see those little issues.

Now with free CDs Ubuntu stickers are shipped. Many users use Kubutu at least. Please, send Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Xubuntu stickers too.

Merge all the shipits in Ubuntu shipit, with (possibly hided by default) option to request kubuntu and edubuntu:

Please, if you cannot make the wallpaper set for kubuntu, add Ubuntu wallpaper set to it.

Adept installer is highly unstable. Every time when you're installing a big number of packages, it fails, and you must use 'apt-get -f install'. That's why I use Synaptic because of its stability. But it's not normal.

Please, make Adept the stable application.

When installed in kubuntu, Firefox must use Oxygene style by default. It may be, for example, Kde4 + Firefox3 0.10 ( http://ramonantonio.net/kde-firefox/ ), or https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/7962

When you log out from KDE in Kubuntu Gutsy and leave OpenOffice' windows opened, KDE don't remember what documents was opened in those windows and at start of new session just opens one window of OpenOffice. In Debian GNU/Linux there was not such issue when I used it. It's very disturbing, because when you work on some project and need to edit many documents at the same time, you need to open them again if you turned off the computer. Please, fix that issue.

Please use RIGHT typography in russian, ukrainian and other helps and INTERFACE:

Please, integate HPLIP into SystemSettings when HP printer is registered in system. When you have an HP printer, the printer configuration dialog becomes useless.

Please, ship the latest versions of Windows open source programs on Edubuntu CD. The more people will like open source, the more is possibility that they try to use linux.

There is no video player with powerful collection manager. Please, create some or add such futures to kaffeine or other player.
