Search "Totem" and "totem" tags and you get different results.

Or clicking "Tags" vs. "tags" gives different results (see below).

Please make tag searches case-insensitive. They are far less effective if there are two sets of results for each tag.

Every week Brainstorm could choose an idea (not necessarily the most popular idea) that is innovative, different or has a fresh perspective and give it some special recognition.

The idea could be marked with a bright light bulb icon and/or appear at the top of the page in its category.

GOOM and Monoscope are nice, but I'd love to see some additional visualisations included with this player right from the start. New ubuntu users may not have the chops to add more.

Visualizations that are small and lightweight would be excellent candidates for inclusion.

More and more requests for site-related issues are being made. (I've even made some myself, including this idea.)

Would it hurt to separate the two types of ideas a little more?

I know everyone here supports improving Brainstorm, but I'd rather see the major focus given to Ubuntu ideas.

Perhaps relegating site-related ideas/discussions to appear in the Brainstorm category only would be one solution?

Ability to right click on a shared folder it and make it unaccessible. The shared icon would change to reflect this state.

There are times when I need to share files, but much of the time don't want a wide open shared folder.

I don't want to lose the options that I've specified for the share in smb.conf, but I would like the peace of mind that I can close it as a potential security hole.

No browse... no read... no write... no exe.

Then switch it back on with a right click when I need to share again.

When a user has the Information side pane selected as a view-- Nautilus currently only shows how many items are in the folder and the date it was modified. That's not much info for something dubbed the Information pane.

It would be useful if it also showed the total size of the folder and maybe some indication of the folder permissions.

There's also a button to "Open with archive manager" but it never seems to open anything when I press it.

Right now, with Advanced Search a user can narrow searches to an individual category or all categories at once.

It would be useful to have an option to "Exclude brainstorm ideas" from a search.

Perhaps another checkbox right under the "Show Duplicates" option. Or another choice in the category combo-box... search "all categories except Brainstorm".

This way users can zero in on ideas that are unrelated to Brainstorm-- and benefit from faster searches, too.
