Ubuntu should have a gadget (like google desktop) that list keyboard shortcuts available on the current application opened or desktop in desktop mode.
I really thinks this gadget would help many users to open and use application much more faster. Because using shortcut are often faster than to have to reach the mouse first and pointing it to menu toolbar, but its just hard to remember all the shortcuts and there's so many application that has it's own formula of shortcut which make it much more difficult to remember.

when user double click picture icon on nautilus or desktop in the means to open the picture, i think it would be great if the picture just showed up, pop out. no tool bar, no picture-handler-application. Just the picture, pop out.
i think it would be very cool

there is no more need to keep the toolbar..
Each application should have their own unique toolbar instead.
Like xmms, other apps like nautilus, open office, nautilus, rhytmbox should have their own theme.
