Stop marking things down because "its not a priority"
Written by Auzy the 2 Mar 08 at 22:53. Global category: Others. Not an idea
I'd like to see added to the frontpage that people should vote ideas based on whether they should or should not be implemented.

At the moment, I have noticed there is a trend of people voting against ideas, not because its a bad idea, but because they think there are other priorities. In fact, thats why almost every idea except a select few are +1. Even posts to fix grammer issues on brainstorm are getting voted down.

It should be emphasised:
+1 for ideas you would like to see implemented
-1 for ideas you don't want to see at all.

Because at the moment the reason so many things are -1 is because people think other ideas are more important at this time. I think our only purpose is meant to be sorting the crappy ideas from the good ones, and let the ubuntu team prioritise them.

Solution #1: Auto-generated solution of idea #2604
Written by Auzy the 2 Mar 08 at 22:53.
Ubuntu Brainstorm was updated in January 2009. Since the idea #2604 was submitted before this update, its rationale and solution are not separated. Please vote accordingly, and if you have the necessary rights, please separate the rationale from the solution. Thanks!
