Wouldn't it be great to be able to command the system via a webcam gestures just like in movies (such as Minority Report not to quote it)
This is feasible : closed-source Linux implementations already exist, ant it would be an innovative asset over Windows and MacOSX.

3d web browsing replaces desktop

A 3D web visualization instead of a desktop. Nevermind Compiz, lets see some 3D modeling of the internet that you can actually browse. Nuff with the ol' desktop - that's so 19th century anyway

Ctrl-alt-backspace can be very handy, but having it available when your screensaver is running makes other people able to log you out when your computer is locked.

I know this might be difficult to implement (since we're still running in the X server and all) but maybe it's possible for X to ignore this when in screensaver mode?
