Easily print images from context menu
Written by demauk the 13 Aug 09 at 21:59. Related project: Xubuntu. New
In my xubuntu box, I have to open an image in Gimp if I want to print it. It would be nice if I could right-click an image or a group of images and select "Print ...".

Solution #1: Include Photoprint in Xubuntu and a custom action for it in Thunar
Written by demauk the 13 Aug 09 at 21:59.
Photoprint could be included in Xubuntu, and Thunar could have a custom action for image types, that offers a "Print ..." action in the context menu. This action would simply pass the images to Photoprint.

Solution #2: Use Gnome's Image Viewer
Written by demauk the 13 Aug 09 at 22:00.
Gnome's Image Viewer lets users print their images, so Xubuntu could just switch (back) to it.

When you right click an image or group of images you should be able to click "Print image" and have it print.

Solution #5: Same as "Add print to context" but with documents too
Written by jeremyafrank the 6 Oct 09 at 14:10.
Same as the above solution, but I'd like to have it handle more than images.
