Cheese - ability to ftp to directory or blog like Camorama
Written by corq the 9 Jun 08 at 23:37. Category: Graphics. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
Once upon a time, I was a die-hard Camorama users for it's ability to FTP just-taken webcam pix to by blog's web directory.

However, I've grown to like cheese's image handling better, and the filters are fun. Cheese would be PERFECT with an extra FTP upload enhancement.

I foresee lots of folks using this to upload to their weblogs. Probably simple ftp dialogue would be a start - to drop the simole images in a ftp directory - but if the dominant weblogs, livejournal, wordpress, etc could be added later, this could be a lot of fun.

Even if this isn't a must for the standard user, if this is possible as an optional plugin that powers users could download, I think it would be a nice enhancement.

Possibly, to "choose" from several of the recently taken pictures to upload one's favorite, would be a bonus!

Thanks for the author's time in this project; Cheese is already pretty neat, even if the suggested ideas aren't possible, it's a great application on it's own.
