ACLS and Eiciel are already in repositories, can these be on a default install. They would simplfy management and increase security through more granular control of file and folder access.

I know this won't be a popular request but for those of us using Ubuntu in enterprise it is in very high demand.
Nested groups have been in the windows world for a while and they are incredibly useful, even more so when the computer is the member of a windows Domain, (then you can have the domain users be a member of the administrators group)
I am betting this would also simplyfy the groups that are on an Ubuntu install so that it goes from being 20+ groups to a handful that can be shown in the gui and the rest hidden with members from the shown groups.
