User not able to get/see packet send /receive infromation for network coonected.
Written by benoyanthony the 2 Jun 12 at 11:06. Related project: Network Manager. New
Normal user unable to monitor date send received information through network manager. As user pay cost to providers for their data plan, it whould be better if they can know how many data is being send and recceived for each session after connection to particular network connection.

There are scripted ways to do this, but via GUI would be wonderful.

Solution #2: create a desktop shortcut for ifconfig
Written by nigamp the 6 Jun 12 at 12:37.
We can see the packet information though ifconfig in terminal.

Create a shortcut/alias for this command ,since this would be better than manually clicking through the network manager icon

Solution #2: Integrate btrfs snapshots in GNOME and KDE and make btrfs the default
Written by luca.barbieri the 7 Jul 10 at 19:07.
Snapshot functionality requires filesystem support to work well (i.e. take snapshots instantly without taking up any space until files get modified), and this already exists in btrfs.

Hence Ubuntu could make it the default filesystem and integrate btrfs snapshots in the package manager and file managers (work on this should already exist).

Solution #1: System shutdown after running process bar
Written by benoyanthony the 24 Jun 10 at 11:34.
When shutdown is clicked from inside Gnome or KDE, system should show progress bar for shutdown and at 100% all hardware and complete system should be shutdown, without showing script for shutdown system / process.

Solution #1: Any click to download link should give option pointing to download manager
Written by benoyanthony the 24 Jun 10 at 11:59.
When we click to any download URL it should give option stating "Download through download manager". And it should be for any default web browsers install on Gnome / KDE.
