Nautilus (with Tree): Hide Arrow if no sub-folder
Written by ax the 14 Apr 08 at 17:02. Category: Look and Feel. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
When using Tree and not showing files, the arrow will be hidden if the folder contains no sub-folder
If there is no arrow, it suggests that no sub-folder without opening it

Sorry for my bad english =)

Nautilus (List view): "Entire line select" not easy-use for mouse
Written by ax the 14 Apr 08 at 17:28. Category: Look and Feel. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
when use nautilus in list view (if there is more files than window's height):

- can't use right-button in current folder (on the background)
for exemple : create folder, paste, etc

- can't use "selection square"

Maybe only select file by clicking on column : "Name"
(put other column on the background)

Sorry for my bad English =)

TTY : change default resolution for high resolution monitor
Written by ax the 30 May 08 at 12:37. Category: Look and Feel. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
English :
-------------
Yep,
Most monitor allow resolution higher than 1024x768 and now in wide.
If Xorg detect default resolution higher than 1024x768 it should be good to set default tty resolution to 1024x768 for nice use/view.

if it was, sorry for my bad english =)

Francais :
--------------
Yep,

COMPIZ : Don't use opacity on desktop icons when set trensparent cube
Written by ax the 16 Aug 08 at 13:23. Category: Look and Feel. Related to: Compiz Advanced Settings (ccsm). New
I don't know if "Compiz post" is really a part of ubuntu brainstorm but :

English :
-----------
I enjoy set permanent transparent cube for keeping an eye on some appz on other desktop. but setting it apply transparency on icons too and with opacity=10% cant see/use desktop icons!
An option for disable this function on icons let the user to use this function using desktop.

Sorry for my bad English =)

Français :
------------

TOTEM : Option for shutdown computer after play playlist
Written by ax the 17 Apr 08 at 09:57. Category: Multimedia. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
- English :
I need to use Gshutdown (and calculate shutdown time) to halt computer after playing a movie.
Include a "shutdown after play" in totem should be good.

Sorry for my bad English

- Francais :
Je suis obligé d'utiliser gshutdown (et calculer l'heure d'arret) pour eteindre mon ordi a la fin de la lecture.
Inclure une option "eteindre apres la lecture" serai une bonne chose!
