Create a simple tool with GUI .This can compilate the source code, and, when you compile, the tool cut and paste the code in /home/user/.make .

Allow Brainstorm ideas to be anonymous

Quoting a Brainstorm developer, "Developer #1 I quite like being anonymous...". Well, so do I. I'd like an option to submit ideas without my name linked to the public on them (only to developers or admins). This would make idea submission a lot more fair, so votes for an idea would no longer be dependent on how your last ideas performed.
I have seen a few cases in the past of ideas that were voted down because of the submitter posting them, hence why the ability to make ourselves anonymous, would be more fair. It would pose no security risk, and nor would it make it easier to post spam (as admins could still see the real users name). It would simply mean that people who believe they are being discriminated against, don't need to create a second username to determine if they really are. They can just post anonymously instead.
Not hard to code either. Just add an extra column in the table, and check if its been set. If it has, display the name as anonymous, not "tinky winky" or whoever.
Developer comments
Anonymous Developer #N: I think it's quite a good idea.

Better choice of animals for codename

Why do we always pick the crap animals for the codenames of our releases?
We have shit like "Breezy Badger", "Hoary Hedgehog", "Warty Warthog", "Gutsy Gibbon", "Hardy Heron", and "Intrepid Ibex".
These are weak shit animals that cant even hunt anything, they get preyed on by the big animals.
This while Mac OS X gets to have all the cool animals, they have Cheetah, Puma, Jaguar, Tiger, Panther, Leopard, etc. All big, strong and dangerous animals that can roar!
We should have the badass animals. The king of the jungle, the top of the food-chain!
Stop picking weak names like badger, hedgehog, rabbit, butterfly, etc.
We should have badass names like "Gruesome Godzilla", "Terrifying Tyrannosaurus", "Vicious Velociraptor", "Tireless Tigershark", "Fearless Falcon", "Crushing Crocodile", etc.

Recycle Bin : empty by default

I would like to be able to empty the recycle bin when I (left) click on the icon, not open it.
I want to empty it more often than I want to check what's in it, so I'd like a way to do that faster, especially since the icon is so small, in it's corner of the screen.
This should be optional; I'm just looking for a way to rapidly empty the recycle bin.

Make doing backup fun

Ok, this is a challenge for all Ubuntu-developers.
I hate two things:
1. Printers
2. Backup
My dislike for printers and configuration is already targeted in Intrepid Ibex in the joint venture Ubuntu/Linux Foundation with OpenPrinting.
I would LOVE to see increased efforts around my second point: Backup.
I want a backup routine that is as seamless as anything else in Ubuntu. Perhaps something like Apples time machine.
Is it possible to make doing backup easy and fun?

canonical should add more sounds to ubuntu, for example when we delete a file in the Trash permanently, it should sound like when something like a wrinkled paper or throw it in the trash when dragging a file to another folder or directory should have a sound , In order something like the Mac operating system! a sound for every action performed
LIKE AN OPTION U CAN ACTIVATE, NOT BY DEFAULT!!!

Make UbuntuTweak a Default

Ubuntu Tweak is such a good tool for getting your Ubuntu system to work just right, I think it should be included by default. The first thing that I do when installing a system is put Tweak on it and fiddle a bit. It offers a comfortable, non-intimidating GUI for new/intermediate users to tweak their system. This is consistent in Ubuntu's quest to be Linux for Human Beings. A new user can use it to customize their GNOME setup and Compiz, or add easy scripts like Open As Root to Nautilus.
