For old Mac and Windows converts who are familiar with Antares Autotune, rubberband is a library that allows us Linux users to write applications that do the same thing.

Rubber Band is an audio time-stretching and pitch-shifting library and utility program. There are Audacity plugins that take advantage of the library and I'm working on an independent application that allows you to do pitch correction on vocal tracks. This is an area where Linux sorely lacks options. Rubber Band is licensed under the GPL.
