Drag-and-drop Main Menu
Written by bbt the 16 Mar 08 at 16:37. Category: Look and Feel. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
When I currently want to add an application to the main menu (applications/places/system), I need to open System>Preferences>Main Menu and edit the list there ...

I would like to drag-and-drop whatever to and from the Menu.

When dropping launchers, create or copy the launcher in the Menu. When dropping files or folders, auto-create a launcher to it in the Menu ...

When setting the mouse as left handed, use a 'left-handed' pointer also
Written by kenden the 18 Apr 08 at 16:24. Category: Accessibility. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
When the mouse is set as default (right-handed mouse), the mouse pointer points to the left, like a right arm aiming.

So, when the mouse is set as Left-handed, the pointer should point to the right, like a left arm aiming.

It feels strange to have the pointer in the 'wrong direction' when using the mouse with the left hand!

Do not use Black Screen screensaver during installation
Written by webhamster the 18 Apr 08 at 20:05. Category: Installation. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
I think it is very confusing that during installation, the screen suddenly becomes black. It would be much better if there would be at least a simple image, so that the screen does not look like the computer just crashed.

I'm bored with dual-screen on GNU/Linux, it really has to have a graphic configuration, and better features.
I would like to move windows from a screen to another, but when I maximize I need it to be in a single screen.

Remove memtest+ from Grub
Written by Virtual_Spirit the 19 Apr 08 at 12:38. Category: System. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
How often you use memtest+ ? nor more than one or two time in whole year. So why not remove the link in grub and make a link in the system menu like "Check my memory at next boot "

With that the boot menu will be more clear.

I thinks 90% of non-geek user never use this tool.
