Ubuntu brainstorm for cell phones
Written by Stalker72 the 7 Dec 08 at 00:08. Global category: Internet & Networking. New
It would be cool if I could access Ubuntu brainstorm on my cell phone. The URL could be wap.brainstorm.ubuntu.com.

Safari feels extremely smooth when scrolling. I want this in Firefox too. If it's already there, please add it as default.

Partner with mouse / keyboard manufacturers
Written by Stalker72 the 6 Dec 08 at 23:28. Global category: Hardware support. New
It would be great if Canonical could partner with, for example, Razer, Roccat and SteelSeries. As a gamer, I miss mouse and keyboard drivers for Linux.

Preserve Africa's wildlife!
Written by Stalker72 the 30 Oct 08 at 10:18. Global category: Marketing. New
When you buy things from the Canonical Store, a few percent of the total price (maybe 5%) should go to preserving animals. If you buy Hardy Heron items, you help preserve the heron, and if you buy Intrepid Ibex items, you help preserve the ibex.

You will probably ask me how we can preserve the jackalope, so just forget that one! ;)

Suggestion for the network controller part of Hardware Testing
Written by Stalker72 the 1 Nov 08 at 20:48. Global category: Hardware support. New
If I answer "No" to "Is this correct?", the next part should be to write down the name of the correct network adapter, because it's obviously not supported yet.

Right-click option - "Run in Terminal"
Written by Stalker72 the 23 Nov 08 at 11:54. Related project: Firefox. New
When browsing the Internet or getting help on the Ubuntu Servers in XChat, I usually stumble over commands that will be run in Terminal. I want a "Run in Terminal" right-click option in Firefox (maybe other places too).

There should be a counter on ubuntu.com which shows how many times Ubuntu gets downloaded each second.

Force remove
Written by Stalker72 the 15 Nov 08 at 12:37. Related project: Synaptic package manager. New
When I try to remove an application in the Synaptic package manager, I often get a message saying "Cannot remove 'name'". There should be an option to force remove. I have quite a few applications that I can't remove, and they're cluttering up my menus. For example, I want to remove Sun Java 6 Runtime so I can get the Icedtea Java Plugin or the Ubuntu restricted extras, but I can't!

Fetch song info
Written by Stalker72 the 13 Nov 08 at 14:14. Global category: Multimedia. Already implemented
Now we're able to fetch album covers from Amazon, etc. I want to be able to fetch song info too, preferably from Wikipedia (a reliable source IMO). It would fetch the correct song and album names (correct spelling, etc.), year, album number, composer, genre and lyrics (from another source, like Sing365).

This is pretty useful when downloading music, as some people don't know how to spell!
