Trash Bin Configuration Menu
Written by PreviousN the 29 Feb 08 at 11:34. Category: System. Related to: Nothing/Others. New
In this config menu we could have time to keep files before deletion, whether or not the trash has a limited size, or whether or not items to the trash are deleted immediately (what I most want).

I commonly want to delete a movie or recorded tv show after I watch it. The downside is that since the media is on another hard drive, trash actually copies the file to my .trash folder on my main system drive and then the file sits there until I tell it to empty.

Give me a trash bin configuration menu. When I want to delete a file, I shouldn't have to open a terminal to type "rm " something.

Add a link to Ubuntu Brainstorm on the firefox default homepage.

Simple suggestion:

have something on the firefox start page
(file:///usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/index.html)

that says "Get involved in the community! Got an Idea? Join the Ubuntu Idea brainstorm and you may see your idea implemented!"
