I would like a program that would be started in star up that would allow me to manage every options of the USB devices, specially USB mass storage devices.
I have several problems with pendrives or card readers when I need to connect and disconnect them several times. The information they contect corrupts and after 5 or 6 connections and disconnections, they become impossible to read, mount or format. I would like one program that would allow me to get more information in a grafic way and would allow me to manage them correctly.

When I started using Ubuntu with Dapper Drake, one of the things I liked more was the "Add and delete applications" option. But I have seen that most of the applications descriptions are exlusively shown in English. I can read English, but one of the Ubuntu most powerfull features is it's internationalization and the possibility of get most of the information in your local language.
I think that all the descriptions of the apps. should be translated to every languages, so everyone could understand perfectly what that program does.

I would like Rythmbox to select traks from my DB for me depending on if today I feel sad, happy, lovely, etc. To do so, every trak should be tagged with some tags like "slow", "sad", "romantic", "hard", "fast", "party", "summer", "power"... and Rythmbox should show different traks based on genre, author and these tags.

Separate in Launchpad Translations descriptions for Add/remove from Synaptic's

Not-quite-advanced-users would be very interested in using Add/remove programs to search and install programs. But maybe, those basic users would not speak English good enough, so the descriptions of the programs in Add/remove programs should be translated for the local language of the user. "Ubuntu aims to be usable by as many people as possible, which is why we include the very best localisation and accessibility infrastructure that the free software community has to offer." [1].
These descriptios of the programs can be translated in [2], but the true is that it very difficult to find the descriptios used in Add/remove programs ans that a basic desktop-user needs to understand what a program can do in order to select the best for him/her, so we should give more effort in translating Add/remove programs than the packets descriptions showns in Synaptic. This would be quite more easier if those descriptions would be concentrated in only one point in Launchpad, like [2]
