[-27] Allow renaming of files by slow double-clicking

One of my favourite features in Windows, compared to Ubuntu, is renaming files in Windows Explorer. In Windows, you click on a file, wait a bit so it doesn't register as a double-click (and thus, run the file) then click it again. Doing so allows you to rename the file.

In Nautilus (not sure about other File Managers), you have to right-click then go to Rename to rename a file. This is slow and cumbersome.

It is very frustrating when you get caught out after 30 boots and the system does a full check. Especially if you are about to give a presentation or you just need to read one bit of information. The Ubuntu team have done a great job of speeding up the boot time but this irritation undoes all the good work.

Possible solutions and further explanation:
http://micrux.net/?p=52

In many cases, I can't configure my webcam or I have problems with the microphone. Now I can use my webcam but only with V4L2 and only 3 programas detect my webcam. It's a good idea can use my webcam in all programs as camorama.

Ubuntu needs to go green. Powertop, Lesswatts and other tools have finally hit the Linux scene to pave the way for better power management. It needs to be said, "if you want your battery to last longest, or have your energy bill be the lowest, you better use Ubuntu Linux."
