Categories for organizing Brainstorm ideas

This site is really amazing, and a great step in reaching out to the Ubuntu community, but it still needs a bit of work. I suggest that the categories for ideas be listed on the left hand side of the screen for easy access. I have not yet found an easy way to sort ideas by their category, which seems a strange oversight in design.

If you look carefully at the advanced search, you will find the ability to sort by category.
Meanwhile, your wish has been fulfilled and will be uploaded soon!

Brainstorm: Don't start with most popular, and hide grades until requested

Change start page of Brainstorm to show latest ideas or something, else people will probably push for the already high-graded ideas and won't care of other newer ideas.
Maybe a page with random ideas?
And remove the grades if not specifically requested, since it will affect peoples voting.

New front page, with a descending (nb of votes)/(time since creation) sorting.
This way, the newest ideas have their chance to stand up!

Ubuntu Brainstorm should make it possible to vote for idea deletion

The reason for this is to unclutter Ubuntu Brainstorm.
Some ideas submitted are not applicable, or are already existing although the poster didn't know about them.
It should be possible mark an idea for deletion instead of just voting it down, but it should be well distinguished from voting down an idea. Perhaps users must click on the idea to be able to mark it for deletion.

You are now able to report invalid/spam/in development/already implemented ideas by clicking on the small links under the title!

Mark/List ideas that have been implemented

Mark ideas that have already been taken seriously and been implemented.
There should be different states:
Considered for implementation
Scheduled for implementation
Currently in implementation
Already implemented
You can list these states like "Latest ideas" and "Most popular ideas".
Possibly there could also be an additional ranking/voting round for ideas that have been considered but not yet scheduled.

Brainstorm: Should be possible to link ideas to Ubuntu packages

Sometimes people suggest stuff that's already there.
It would be handy to be able link those ideas to the relevant Ubuntu packages.
Right now it's possible to link ideas to ubuntuforums threads, blueprints, and bug reports, but not to packages.
