Audacious should include default equalizer presets
Written by

New
If you want to change equalizer preset after installation, it asks you to import WinAMP presets.
For each user who installs Audacious it takes additional time to search and install WinAMP equalizer presets.
Presets should be out of the box.

Solution #1:
Include default equalizer presets in base Audacious package
Written by

If WinAMP presets are badly licenced, developers of Audacious should include their own preset list.
It should include default preset for Classical, Live, Pop/Rock etc... Just as any normal audio player.

Solution #2:
Make a extra-presets package.

Why not make a package with extra presets, for example: Equalizer presets, Paranormal presets (only the most used presets can be in the default inventory), LADSPA plug-ins (only the most used plug-ins can be in the default inventory), etc.
