Today I made a little experiment. I was to burn a DVD a friend borrow me and when I had the .iso image on my computer I tried to right click on the image and select "Open With"->ogmrip.

OGMRip is a DVD ripper which save the VCD/DVD videos on ogm files.

Well the experiment runned flawlessly and twice faster than I usually runs directly from the DVD.

OGMRip has a conveniend "Load" button (screenshoot http://ogmrip.sourceforge.net/en/shots/ogmrip-main.png ) but that button only search on the disk drives. My idea is to let me search .iso files with the "Load" button.

How other way you expect user knows this is possible?

Include in AcidRip an option as "improve
compatibility with your home dvd player" when ripping video into divx format. I spent many hours to find a solution to the problem (question #44536) that my divx videos make with AcidRip didn't work on my home dvd player. The solution was to include, in the misc section of AcidRip, the option "-ffourcc DIVX" (as we can read in mencoder man pages).
