Ubuntu Need Desktop Search Engine
Written by malsasa the 1 May 12 at 11:42. Related project: Unity. New
Unity has HUD and a smart engine to find commands. And i think Ubuntu need dekstop search engine by default such as Kerry Beagle, tracker, Google Desktop Search, Nepomuk, and etc. for company Unity as a new desktop environment.

Unity needs it, i think. And everybody will be happy if they could find a document contains their name from 1 million document in desktop he forget about its filename. It will be a new innovation after Unity. i think.

And it will be advanced if the new Unity Desktop Search (or Ubuntu Desktop Search) can index files such as PDF, ODT, PNG (metadata), MP3 (metadata), HTML, PHP, and provide fast searching like Google Desktop.

Solution #1: Integrate Unity with An New Desktop Search Engine
Written by malsasa the 1 May 12 at 11:42.
Ubuntu need new desktop search engine. Maybe old desktop search Kerry Beagle (abandoned now, cmiiw) source code can be rebuilded for this. Or Ubuntu can use tracker source code as base for this. Or Ubuntu make its own desktop search engine like Ubuntu made Unity.

Yes it will be easy for users to search anything. Just tap ALT and type anything... he will find them.

Solution #1: Routine to select animals instead of letters and numbers
Written by kleinempfaenger the 29 Apr 12 at 07:19.
Link could open a nice gamelike routine, selecting ubuntu-style animal icons. Each animal represents a letter or number. For example: Password Ub1 is turtle, bird, horse.
